Enrichment long term plan

On Friday afternoons we have enrichment sessions; an opportunity to widen our curricular offer. 

Geography - children extend their mapwork skills progressively though school

French - Years 1 and 2 have an introduction to french, ready for curriculum french in KS2

Nature - an opportunity to deepen their scientific study 

Tales of Todmorden - an opportunity to learn about their local area through exploration and story

Art - extra time to develop their artistic skills

As a school we believe in giving our children many opportunities beyond the classroom. All classes have trips out and we offer residential visits to Year 5 and 6, subsidising them in order to make them accessible to all.
